Automating the printing of invoices can greatly streamline business processes and enhance efficiency. With Google Chrome's built-in features, you can eliminate the need for manual intervention when printing invoices. In this guide, we will walk you through the step-by-step process of setting up automatic invoice printing upon sale.
Step 1- Navigate to the IsleBooks POS Home Page upon signing in (Link). Click on the three dots located at the corner of the screen. From the drop-down menu, select "More tools" and proceed to "Create shortcut."
By following these steps, you'll successfully generate a shortcut to IsleBooks POS, which will conveniently appear on your desktop.
Step 2- Locate the newly created shortcut on your desktop. Perform a right-click on the shortcut icon, and choose the "Properties" option.
Step 3-Inside the properties window, locate the field designated for the shortcut. Here, append "--kiosk-printing" after a space. Once done, confirm your changes by clicking "Apply" and subsequently "OK."
Step 4- Close all active tabs within the Chrome browser. Proceed to the task manager and terminate any tasks associated with Chrome. Reopen IsleBooks POS using the recently configured Chrome shortcut.
Upon completing these steps, your system will seamlessly utilize the default printer to automatically print newly generated invoices as soon as a sale transaction occurs. This streamlined approach eliminates the need for manual intervention, enhancing your business processes and overall efficiency.
