Email Notifications

To send email notifications, you will need to setup an email SMTP. You can use Gmail SMTP if you are using a Gmail address. But if you want to send email notifications from your own domain email. ([email protected] for example), then you will need a professional SMTP service. We recommend Brevo. They offer non subscription plans where you can buy email packages.

Setting Up Brevo

Setting Up Domain

Step 1- Sign Up To Brevo And Go To Senders & IP
โ€‹

Step 2- Click Domains > Add A Domain

Step 3- Provide the domain name you have purchased. (If you dont have a domain, buy from Dhiraagu for .mv domains or buy a .com domain on cloudflare) and click save

Step 4- It will now redirect you to DNS records section. Complete these details in your domain control panel. It will be a section name similar to DNS settings and add those records
Step 5- Once done. Click and verify.

Setting Up SMTP Credentials

Step 1- Go to SMTP and API or follow this link
โ€‹

Step 2- Create a new SMTP key.

Step 3- Now On IsleBooks POS, Go To Settings> Business Settings Email Settings and fill these details

Password: Brevo SMTP key you generated

From Address: if your domain is ahmed.mv you can write anything before @. For example [email protected]

This concludes the email setup. Once its done, you will be able to setup automatic email notifications to customers. Remember to respect customer requests to not receive email notifications for their orders. In this case, you can add their email to suppression list on Brevo or remove their email address from customer info

For those that wishes to send emails through their gmail account, process is similar. In Case of Gmail SMTP these will be what you need to fill instead
