Displaying QR Codes on Invoices
Invoice QR Codes make it easier for customers to quickly access invoice information or complete payments by scanning the QR code printed on the invoice.
Depending on your invoice configuration, the QR code can be used for invoice verification, invoice lookup, payment links, or other supported business functions.
Enabling QR Codes
Go to Settings → Invoice Layouts.
Create a new invoice layout or edit an existing one.
Enable the Invoice QR Code option.
Save the invoice layout.
The QR code will now be included on invoices generated using that layout.
Assigning the Layout
If multiple invoice layouts are available:
Go to Settings → Stores.
Edit the business location.
Select the invoice layout containing the QR code.
Save the changes.
Invoices generated from that location will display the QR code.
Printing the QR Code
After enabling the QR code, it is automatically included on:
Printed invoices
PDF invoices
Receipts that use the selected invoice layout
No additional configuration is required.
Tips
Ensure the QR code has sufficient white space around it to improve scanning reliability.
Test printed invoices to verify that the QR code can be scanned correctly.
If using custom letterheads or uploaded logos, avoid placing graphics over the QR code area to maintain readability.
