Product Stock History
Product Stock History provides a complete audit trail of every stock movement for a product, helping you understand how inventory levels have changed over time.
Each transaction displays the stock movement, running balance, location, and reference document.
Viewing Stock History
Go to Inventory → Products.
Locate the product.
Right-click the product or open the Actions menu.
Select Stock History.
The Stock History page displays all inventory movements for the selected product.
Filtering by Location
If the product exists in multiple business locations, you can filter the history by location.
Open the Location dropdown at the top of the page.
Select a business location.
The list updates to display only stock movements for the selected location.
Select All Locations to view the complete stock history across every business location.
Available Information
Each stock movement includes:
Date – When the transaction occurred.
Type – The transaction type (for example, Sale, Purchase, Stock Adjustment, Stock Transfer, Opening Stock, or Return).
Variation – The product variation involved, if applicable.
Location – The business location where the transaction occurred.
Change – The quantity added to or removed from stock.
Running Balance – The stock quantity after the transaction.
Reference – A link to the originating transaction for easy tracing.
Searching Stock History
Use the search box to quickly find stock movements by matching transaction details or references.
