Customer Display
Customer Display provides a dedicated customer-facing screen that shows the current sale during checkout. Customers can view purchased items, prices, totals, discounts, payment information, promotional banners, and optional payment QR codes in real time.
The Customer Display is ideal for retail stores, supermarkets, cafés, restaurants, and any business using a second monitor to improve customer transparency.
Note: Customer Display is enabled by default for new businesses.
Enabling Customer Display
Go to Settings → Business Settings → POS.
Enable Customer Display.
Click Save Changes.
Opening the Customer Display
To use the Customer Display during checkout:
Open the POS.
Select an existing register or open a new register.
After the POS screen opens, click the Customer Display icon in the top toolbar.
A new browser window opens showing the customer-facing display.
If you are using a second monitor, move the Customer Display window to that screen and switch it to full-screen mode for the best customer experience.
The display updates automatically throughout the sale as products are added, quantities change, discounts are applied, payments are entered, and the sale is completed.
Configuring the Customer Display
Go to:
Settings → Customer Display
This page allows you to customize both the appearance and behavior of the customer-facing screen.
Global & Per-Location Settings
At the top of the page, choose Configure For.
You can configure:
All Locations (Default) – Shared settings used by every business location.
Specific Business Location – Override the default settings for an individual location.
Location-specific settings take priority over the shared defaults.
This allows each branch to have its own branding and payment configuration if required.
Branding
Customize the appearance of the Customer Display by configuring:
Display Logo
Business Name Override
Welcome Message
Thank You Message
WhatsApp Number
Viber Number
You can either:
Upload your own logo, or
Generate one using AI.
Promotional Banners
When no sale is in progress, the Customer Display can automatically show promotional banners as a slideshow.
You can:
Upload promotional images
Generate banners with AI
Configure the slideshow interval
For the best results, use landscape images with a 16:9 aspect ratio.
Display Options
Customize how information appears on the customer screen.
Available options include:
Font Size
Row Density
Show SKU
Show Tax Column
Show Change Due
These settings help optimize the display for different monitor sizes and business requirements.
Payment Accounts & QR Codes
Customer Display supports payment QR codes for each business location.
For every location, you can configure the payment accounts used to generate QR codes for supported banks and currencies, including:
BML
MIB
USD
EUR
GBP
LKR
IDR
You can also choose whether the QR code should be displayed for each individual location.
This allows different branches to display different payment accounts during checkout.
Per-Location Overrides
Each business location can have its own:
Display Logo
Business Name
Welcome Message
Promotional Banners
Payment Accounts
Payment QR Codes
Display Settings
This is useful when different stores have different branding or bank accounts.
Best Practices
Configure All Locations (Default) first, then create overrides only where necessary.
Move the Customer Display window to a dedicated customer-facing monitor.
Use high-quality landscape promotional banners.
Configure payment accounts before enabling QR code display.
Keep welcome and thank-you messages short and easy to read.
Leave the Customer Display open during business hours so it is always ready for the next sale.
