Our POS software now allows to manage IMEI for products for different purposes including warranty and product verifications. To use the system to full extent, use this guide.
When adding products, you will have an option to enable IMEI for the specific product. This allows you to add purchases and opening stock with a unique IMEI or identifier for each unit. And sell specific unit. Feature important for electronic sellers.
How to Add IMEI Purchase
After Adding Products with IMEI number enabled. To add a purchase, simply head to Purchase - Add Purchase, Add the product in search after selecting location and supplier
Click Add IMEI numbers button you see below product qty
In popup, click generate IMEI Fields. and Provide IMEIs and Save
Continue to complete the purchase and it will be added to stock.
IMEI Sale
Go to POS Screen as you normally do and add the IMEI product. popup will auto open for IMEI products.
Select Quantity from Popup and Search IMEI field and select the IMEI unit you want to sell
Once done, complete the sale as you normally would.
Tracking IMEI sales
We understand that in some cases customer may not have the invoice to tarck the sale. But if IMEI is used, you can still lookup the sale by IMEI by heading here
